We built our IKEA house like the one in the store in Tempe, AZ. 300 sq ft of space to vacation in.
It's simple and better then a hotel by a long shot.

First things first. Our homes are all No Smoking. There is no smoking anywhere on the property.
. . . and now for the good stuff.
If you love horses and dogs and the beach, this is a great little hide away. Mini split AC and heat.
This space is like visiting an IKEA store and finding the IKEA vacation home they have on display. That's how we started building this space. We cleared some land behind our home and poured a 300 sq. ft. pad. Over the next four years we built our IKEA house.
It has a small kitchen with a gas stove; a small fridge; a double sink; a small IKEA table with four chairs; a queen bed; and tile shower.

Guest have access to: a gas grill, the internet, Carmen (our assistant), pups, and DVDs
When we are in town, we like to help out our guests as much as possible. We like to hang out with guests when they are up to it.
Our house is close to some restaurants and clubs but not so close you will be blasted with the noise. We can hear the bands playing sometimes, like Easter Holy Week and Semana Santa. Dogs will bark now and then but it's nice and reassuring to know that they are protecting your car and you!
Taxis are cheap but you may have to share with others unless you pay for a solo ride to your destination of choice.
